Linux Specialist


The Linux Specialist is responsible for the management, monitoring, troubleshooting of operating systems and virtual environments on Linux platform.

Experiences and Technical skills:

- Unix operating systems
- Operating system scripting languages (Shell, C-Shell and Shell Commando)
- SQL (DDL and DML operations)
- Installing and managing Cluster Systems (Veritas VCS, HACMP); installing and managing OS Linux (Suse especially), in virtual environments too
- VIOS architecture in AIX environment
- Unix Systems: OS AIX (5.3, 6.1, 7.1); OS Solaris (10, 11.1 e 11.2 con Kernel Zones); Linux OSs (SuSE SLES11, 12 and RedHat 6.3, 6.4, 6.5) – Software Apache
- Products of storage managements (Veritas SF, LVM, ZFS)
- Veritas Storage foundation e SFHA UNIX
- Unix systems administration activities, at least two operating systems. Use of management systems, such as NIM server AIX, Solaris Automated Installer
- Professional certification highly preferred.

High school diploma or degree
At least 3 years of experience in application server administration
Previous experience in Operations and System Management context
English communication skills – both written and verbal
Good communication capability
Problem determination skills
