For our offices in Milan and Rome we are looking for:
Interaction Designer
The interaction designer’s function is to design interfaces that make for effective interaction between the user and information systems. The principal aim of the design is that of rendering the experience fluid and efficient in order to satisfy the users’ needs. To reach this goal the use of technology supports and enhances the fulfillment of the needs of the user placing him at the center of the design process. The interaction designer has the basic job of simplifying the use of complex systems, based on the reference context, of the targeted users and the content provided.
The Interaction Designer has to understand the aims of the product and analyze the possible and effective users in order to organize and channel the information as expected by them. In this way total usability will be guaranteed, resulting in the optimum experience and at the same time enhancing the product.
The Interaction Designer will be capable of producing sound and creative solutions while at the same time solving beforehand problems related to the retrieval of information and the completion of the tasks of the users through the development of clear and communicative solutions.
• At least 2 years experience in the field of interaction design, User centered Design, usability and accessibility of the products.
• Experience in the development of cross channel interfaces for mobile devices, desktop web apps, intranet and various other interfaces for TV, IoT or smartwatch.
• Experience in the gathering and discussion of user requirements and business objectives, followed by the analysis, research and discovery, the study of user cases, interviews with the main players, card sorting and other study and analysis tools in the context of the users.
• Experience in the definition of the information architecture in order to produce products that are usable, flexible and scalable. Analyzing and defining methods of navigation , data management systems, studying the search behaviour of the users in order to better classify the content.
• Excellent knowledge of wireframe design tools (like Axure or Balsamiq) and good knowledge of technologies for building prototypes. Depending on the context, he must know how to build high fidelity wireframes and rapid prototypes that allow you to effectively understand the outcomes of the designs thanks to interactive solutions. He will also have had experience with usability tests to validate the solutions or to provide alternatives.
• Able to effectively communicate the proposed solutions getting both the team and the clients to understand the their strengths (both verbally and in writing using tools like Indesign, Keynote or PowerPoint).
• Be able to produce documentation (specifications or manuals) to support the team and permit them to provide the delivery of the solutions and their ongoing maintenance.
• Previous experience in working effectively with the graphic and development teams and therefore basic knowledge of the theory and techniques of graphic design (knowledge of Adobe) and front-end development tools (html and CSS).
• Able to work in a team sharing experience and increasing its importance.
